Find your way

Peer Gynt Park is located on Løren in Oslo, right between Bjerke and Sinsen. The park is easily accessible both on foot, by bicycle, public transport or car.
Here's how to get here:
  • Subway: Take line 4 or 5 to Løren station. From there it is about 5 minutes walk to the park.
  • Bus: Bus lines 23, 24, 31 and 58 stop nearby — get off at Lørenvangen or Sinsen.
  • Bicycle: There are bike paths from Hasle, Økern and Sinsen that lead directly to Løren.
  • Car: Parking is available in the centre of Løren and adjacent to the residential areas around the park, but the number of spaces is limited — we recommend public transport.

Peer Gynt Park is open to everyone, all year round, and the visit is free. Feel free to combine your trip with a visit to the nearby cafes and parks in the area.

A tradition for art

The promoters behind the parks

The housing developer Selvaag has long traditions of using art to beautify its surroundings. Over three generations, Selvaag has exhibited more than 600 sculptures and works of art in its commercial and residential projects. The Sculpture Parks at Tjuvholmen and Løren are the result of a vision to make art accessible as a natural part of urban life. The goal is to create vibrant neighborhoods where people meet, are inspired and experience art in everyday life, outside the walls of museums.
